Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. Since the late 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked in television and film. She's received many awards, including sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was brought up in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth in New York New York, is an acclaimed actor. Bassett along with her sister aged five, old, moved away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the divorced father. Bassett was in high school and watched John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in the year 1980. Master in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grade), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).

Washington Butler was born in Puyallup Washington, was always attracted by the arts. She was a singer in choirs, entered performances in singing contests, and was a part of the community theatre and in high school.
